In Wilmington, N.C. the daughter of a Sheriff Deputy was raped. Local officials and authorities including senior education system leaders and New Hanover County subjected the young victim to additional trauma and humiliation. When her father tried to protect end this mistreatment diplomatically, he was subjected to threats and retaliation by Sheriff Ed McMahon. None of his colleagues in law enforcement or D.A. Ben David, and no State or New Hanover County officials took any action whatsoever to support or seek justice for the victim or safety for the public.
When they treat their own this way, how do you think they treat a lone public official who uncompromisingly opposes their decades of unchecked corruption?
There are dozens of victims with similar experiences, hundreds of witnesses, abundant likely admissible, credible, independent & certainly actionable forms of evidence in FBI and Attorney General Josh Stein’s possession, and the possession of other appropriate State and Federal authorities. Inaction has directly led to victimization of other children and nobody in a position of trust in the entire Cape Fear region of N.C. or any official in a state or federal “oversight” agency cares one bit for the victims…
